Our RR vs RCB betting tips are ready! It’s the second-biggest game in this year’s Indian Premier League, and we have done our best to provide you with some winning predictions and the best online cricket satta bazar.
The Rajasthan Royals had every chance going into the final over against the Gujarat Titans, who required 16 off their final over. However, world-class finisher David Miller went six, six, six off the first three balls of the over to win the game by seven wickets for his franchise.
After two failures in the previous two IPL qualifiers, the RCB have broken the spell of near-misses to have one more shot at making their first IPL final since 2016.
The action gets underway from 7.30 pm on Friday 27th May at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad - you can find my full IPL betting breakdown below!
Ever since I saw them at the beginning of the season, I felt the Royals could be a decent bet to win their first IPL title since they were inaugural champions back in 2008.
My RR vs RC betting predictions are based on the premise Sanju Samson’s team will get the job done against Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and company. Here are three cricket betting tips to get you started:
Match Winner: RR
Toss Winner: RR
Sanju Samson to score 50+ runs
The main reason I’m siding with the Royals as part of my RR vs RCB betting tips is the underlying form - it reads better for the RR than it does their opponents. Sometimes, making a prediction is about taking it back to basics.
Statistically, the Royals have the best bowler (Yuzvendra Chahal) and the best batsman (Jos Buttler) in the league. They have one of the best finishers in the game in Shimron Hetmyer, and can count themselves unlucky in defeat to the irrepressible Gujarat Titans on Monday.
Meanwhile, it was thanks to a player that went unsold in the 2022 Mega Auction that the RCB made it through to the second qualifier. Rajat Patidar hit a phenomenal 112 from just 54 balls in an innings comprising 12 fours, seven sixes, and some salivating strokeplay. The big three in du Plessis, Kohli, and Maxwell could only register 34 runs between them.
They can’t rely on a relative novice once again against the Royals - they have too much quality in Chahal, Trent Boult, and Prasidh Krishna - so one of the big three are going to have to find their form.
It’s a tight call - but at 2.0 with Pure Win, I think there is better value in backing the Royals.
At one point, it looked like we could be in for a Samson special on Monday. The explosive wicket-keeper batsman was in the groove and had breezed to 47 runs from just 26 balls before holing out in the deep.
His dismissal came at a bad time for the Royals - they were cantering along at 79/1 but their momentum was checked. It was only some lucky hitting from Buttler and some ill-discipline from the bowlers toward the back-end of the innings that got them to a challenging 188/6.
When Samson is in mass destruction mode, there are few others that can match his ability to score quickly. He is having a solid IPL 22 - he has hit 421 runs at an average of 30.07 with a strike rate of 150.35 - but I’m backing him to markedly increase those stats here,
You can get odds of 3.8 on Samson to score a half century with Pure Win - it’s a tempting price, and I will be snapping it off!
